Letter to Gov. Owens RE: CORA

Dear Governor Owens,

I'm writing to urge you to comply with the Colorado Open Records Act and make available documents requested by Clear Peak Colorado concerning contracts your office has awarded. I understand the law requires documents to be made available within 3 days, with a 7 day extension, and that it has been over two weeks since the request was made. Clear Peak Colorado is considering legal action, which would cost the taxpayers money that would be better spent on legitimate causes.

Please do your duty by serving your constituents. That means saving us the time and expense of having to force you to comply with the law.

Julie O.
